NENA’s mission is to foster the technological advancement, availability, and implementation of a universal emergency telephone number system. In carrying out its mission, NENA promotes research, planning, training and education. The protection of human life, the preservation of property and the maintenance of general community security are among NENA’s objectives.
May 1- 4 NYS 911
The New York State 9-1-1 Coordinators Association is an active group of 9-1-1 Professionals representing the 62 Counties that make up New York State. This group meets bi-annually to discuss issues of importance to our occupation and enables us the opportunity to share information and to gain critical skills required to excel in our field.
May 3-4 Coastal Bend Hurricane Conference
The Coastal Bend Emergency Management Association (CBEMA) and Nueces County are hosting the 11th annual Coastal Bend Hurricane Conference. This conference has been a great success, drawing professionals from the lower Texas Coast and ensuring all community stakeholders have access to high quality training and networking. The audience includes professionals with experience ranging from those new to emergency management, to those who are expert emergency managers; and incorporates the full range of local, state and federal government responders and policy makers, volunteer organizations, healthcare professionals, private business and industry representatives.
May 9-11 2023 Emergency Management Forum
Montana DES is excited to host the 2023 Emergency Management Forum. This event will bring together professionals from across the state and across sectors to hear from an extensive group of presenters, share best practices, and network with peers.
May 19-20 Lancaster County Firemen’s Association LCFA Fire Expo 2023
Each May, FIRE EXPO becomes the leading event for Fire, Emergency Medical Services, Rescue, and Public Safety Equipment in the United States. The world’s leading manufacturers and representatives of emergency equipment and related items will be exhibiting at the Show. You can expect to see the latest innovations in fire fighting equipment, apparatus, education, training, health safety and overall emergency response.
May 19-21 Nebraska Fire School
The Fire School Committee, the NSVFA Board, the State Fire Marshall’s Training Division and countless others have worked so hard to bring you the training, fellowship, food and vendor connections that have made Fire School so famous. This year’s school will consist of 29 classes in all phases of firemanship, fire investigation, rescue, fire safety, leadership, officer training, fire prevention and EMS. The school is once again being held at Fonner Park and sites in and around Grand Island.
May 22-25 CFED West Conference & Expo
CFED is jam-packed with incredible speakers and presentations making it the premier Fire, EMS, Nursing, and Disaster Conference on the west coast. With the continuing challenges in healthcare, CFED is committed to increasing your awareness and abilities to respond by providing expert presentations and valuable lessons learned.
May 26-28 New Brunswick Association of Fire Chiefs (NBAFC)
The NBAFC is the voice of over 5000 Officers and FireFighters within the Province of New Brunswick. The fire service of New Brunswick is no different than our counterparts worldwide, a mix of career and volunteer firefighters who meet the challenges of fire suppression, fire prevention, rescue, emergency medical services and Hazardous Material response. Continuous training is a necessity for the fire service in order to keep abreast of the changing technologies.
